MLC Geoff Corkish says it will be with a heavy heart that he leaves his post as a member for tourism.
The former Douglas West MHK has been synonymous with the area for a large portion of his political career.
Following the Chief Minister's government reshuffle he's now been moved from Economic Development to the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.
Mr Corkish says although there are a number of things he didn’t get to implement he's confident he's leaving tourism in a very healthy state:
