A teenager from Maughold will be sentenced next month after being caught speeding.
19-year-old Alexander William Foster, of Port E Vullen, was stopped by police on the Mountain Road on June 1st.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit - who were stationed at Hillberry - recorded his Ford Fiesta travelling at 54mph in the 40 zone.
Foster admitted the offence via Coroner's Admission at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday.
The court heard he was subject to R-plate restrictions at the time of the incident.
Sentencing was adjourned until August 23rd.
