A controversial art installation has been removed from Ronaldsway airport following a number of complaints.
The display depicted a bomb rigged upto a timing device, and was intended as a celebration of freedom.
Although it was complaints that led to it being removed the piece also received praise from people who admired the message.
The departure exhibit was put together by local artists Krista Magee – who designed the bomb piece, and Julia Ashby Smyth.
Krista has been in the news before following her commission to design the Douglas harbour Seagull – which stirred public opinion for its price tag.
