Police are reminding dog owners to keep their pets under control whilst on someone else's land or property.
Officers say at this time of year farmers are preparing their sheep for winter lambing.
The constabulary is advising people sheep worrying is an offence and farmers have the right to protect their stock.
Authorities took to social media to issue the message.
