Future of RHA Looking Good
Contact has been made with the new UK Government in relation to the future of the Reciprocal Health Agreement.
Minister Anderson wrote to congratulate new Secretary of State Andrew Lansley on his new role, he also highlighted that discussions needed to start into securing the future of the Reciprocal Health Agreement, with it’s reprieve extension coming to an end in September.
In his response to the Health Minister, the Secretary of State said the Health Agreement was something that clearly needs addressing and he looks forward to working with the Isle of Man Government on this matter.
The Health Minister said the swift and positive response bodes well for the future relationship between the UK and Isle of Man Health Services.
