Minister Extends Consultation Due to Major Changes in Government
The Children’s Bill consultation deadline has been extended by two weeks.
Due to the major changes undertaken in Government over the past week the new Education and Children Minister Eddie Teare thought it would be necessary to impose the extension.
The Children’s Bill has been accused and praised in equal measure for it’s new proposed measures geared toward protecting under-privileged and vulnerable children in the Isle of Man.
A copy of the consultation document can be downloaded from www.gov.im/consultations.
The new deadline for submissions is April 30th.
