Consultation asks, 'are students leaving school prepared for workplace?'

The consultation focuses specifically on how education is preparing 16 and 18 year old students upon leaving high school.

The public are being asked their views on whether they feel the current education system is preparing Children appropriately for the workplace.

The consultation focuses specifically on how education is preparing 16 and 18 year old students upon leaving high school.

As it stands there is a small take up of the pre-vocational courses on offer for the students, these are deemed a good way of developing team building, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Education and Children Minister Eddie Teare has said the document will help determine future policies for his successor following September’s General Election.
