The Isle of Man Constabulary's Alcohol Unit are in Strand Street today for the start of their Christmas Campaign.
Their key message is that people can enjoy themselves while looking after each other, being respectful and thinking of the potential consequences of over indulging.
Officers are at the Strand shopping Centre from 10am with interactive displays and leaflets from the charity Motiv8, for anyone who wants to seek advice and guidance regarding substance misuse without having to speak to the police.
Colouring in is available to keep children occupied and anyone taking selfies with officers can post them on social media with the hashtag #nottheusualchristmaspartysuspects.
