Police are urging people to report cold-callers, after one hapless man tried to sell trees to a householder who didn't have a garden.
Officers say they've had reports of coldcalling in Onchan - it's illegal to solicit for work by knocking on doors on the Island.
They're asking the public to be vigilant and keep an eye on any vulnerable neighbours
If someone calls at your door offering work, you can contact the Office of Fair Trading on 686500 or police.
