Computers back up and running at Island surgeries

Computers at all Island surgeries are all back up and running.

It comes following a glitch earlier today which resulted in all systems being down due to a technical issue.

As a result, it meant the facilities were unable to schedule any appointments.

However, the Department of Health and Social Care now says all practices are running as normal and all IT issues have been resolved.

It's asking patients to be patient and apologised for any inconvenience the problem may have caused.

Computer systems at all 12 GP practices are back up and running again after this morning's IT issues, now resolved. Please can patients bear with staff as they get back to normal. We apologise for any inconvenience this problem has caused to the public today.
