The constabulary says it's been receiving complaints of people parking cars on pavements around the Island.
Officers have taken to social media saying this is something which is happening during the daytime and evening with some pedestrians being forced to walk on roads to avoid vehicles.
Authorities say they're aware certain roads can be narrow, but are urging people to be considerate about where they leave their cars as visibility at this time of year will be more limited.
They also warn officers may have to issue tickets if complaints are made and such vehicles are noticed.
