Committal proceedings against a police officer accused of stealing from the Isle of Man Police Federation Fund have been delayed.
49-year-old Kevin Scott Williams, of Port E Chee Avenue in Douglas, appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
His case was due to be elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, where he’ll stand trial, after he previously denied 14 offences.
The allegations - 11 of theft, two of false accounting and one of deception - allegedly took place between December 2011 and October 2017.
The court heard committal was delayed due to a change in legal representation - it’s now expected to take place on September 11 th ; bail continues.
