Garff Commissioners are reminding dog owners of summer restrictions on Laxey beach after one fouled a swimmer's bag.
Access for dogs is currently allowed only on the section from The Shed cafe to the harbour.
Laxey's by-laws, becoming the norm on tourist beaches, are in place between 10am and 6pm from April 1 until September 31.
The commissioners praised the dog's owner for doing the right thing by finding the swimmer and apologising.
