Ramsey commissioners have applied for permission to build a new fuel store at a civic amenity site in the north of the Island.
In a planning application, the local authority says it wants to install a diesel tank on the site it occupies on Bride Road in Lezayre.
The land is owned by the Department of Infrastructure.
In its application, the board says the fuel store would hold up to 2,500 litres of diesel.
