Commissioners issue by-election notice for new board members

Patrick Commissioners has issued a notice for a by-election for three new members.

It was sparked by the resignations of Geoffrey Gelling, John Snelling and Richard Jones in November last year.

Residents wanting to put themselves forward have from the 17 January until 1pm on the 24 January to send the correct forms to the Deputy Returning Officer Phil Gawne.

Forms should be emailed to philliebeg@gmail.com or posted to the local authority.

If more than three candidates come forward, a contested election will be held on the 22 February.
