Braddan could be getting a huge new community and sports centre, if a planning application gets the green light.
Commissioners have already been given planning permission to put up a new building in Strang.
The site, at Noble's Hospital, would be transformed into a hall containing a variety of community, health and leisure facilities.
But a new planning application has been lodged by the board, which says the new plan would mean a slightly smaller building.
Commissioners say in order to afford the building, they've had to cut back on their original plans.
They hope to build a one-stop shop for their offices, a pharmacy, optician and dentist surgery.
As well as that, there'd be a cafe and restaurant, gym, yoga studio and children's soft play area.
The proposals include a 73-space car park, and a 500-metre exercise track running around the outside.
