Commissioners are looking for residents’ views on proposed parking restrictions

Onchan Commissioners is running a consultation for residents about proposed new parking restrictions in the village.

Belgravia Road and Royal Drive are being looked at in a bid to reduce non-residents long term parking and congestion at Onchan Park.

It could mean maximum stays of 18 hours in a 24 hour period if you don’t have a permit.

Local Democracy Reporter Emma Draper has been speaking to Chair of the local authority Zara Lewin, she told us how the responses have been so far, and reminded residents they have until Friday this week to submit their views:
