A Castletown commissioner is the latest local authority member on the Island to get the boot for missing meetings.
Eleanor Dawn Quinney was elected to the board unopposed in 2021.
However, she missed three meetings in a row without permission - which means she's automatically assumed to have vacated her seat.
She's the second local authority member to lose her seat over missed meetings this year after Douglas Councillor Frank Schuengel lost his seat last month.
