Pupils, their parents and staff of an Island school have raised £1,700 for a Moldovan charity.
The annual charity evening at King William's College has generated funds for Speranta Terrei, a charitable organisation in Balti, in northern Moldova, raising awareness of Tuberculosis (TB) delivering TB and HIV medication to rural communities in its area.
The occasion saw those who attend experience a 'Taste of Culture', sampling 14 tables of food representing different nations.
The college principal, Joss Buchanan, says it was also a good opportunity for students to sample different cuisines from around the globe.
