A local primary school says you can collect your child early, if you so wish.
Onchan primary school took to social media to issue the update earlier this morning.
It comes as two amber weather warnings are currently in place for gales and coastal overtopping with 70mph gusts expected - with Police asking people not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
The school says it hasn't been given clearance to close early - and can only do so once the department of education, sport and culture has issued this decision.
However, it states if parents want to collect their child from 2pm, it's understandable.
An update will be given in due course.
