Coastguards are asking parents to be mindful of what their young ones are doing around water during the summer holidays.
At 1:40pm yesterday, Douglas Coastguards were called to assist children who got into difficulty whilst swimming from the Peveril Steps.
The children had managed to get themselves to shore before crews arrived.
On social media Douglas Coastguards say while it is good children are enjoying the outdoors it is vital they remain safe.
