A dog had a lucky escape yesterday, after falling into a ditch in Scarlett.
Castletown coastguards were alerted yesterday morning.
They used safety lines, an extension ladder and a animal rescue bag to recover the pooch.
The animal was unhurt and safely returned to its owner.
