Coastguards in Douglas were called out to help paramedics yesterday.
Officers were alerted just after 5pm after ambulance crews needed help getting to a person who'd hurt themselves.
Because the location couldn't be reached by vehicle, coastguards evacuated them in a stretcher so they could be taken to hospital.
The operation took around an hour.
