Douglas Coastguard had a busy day yesterday, after responding to two urgent incidents.
At 1.13pm on Tuesday February 10, the team carried out an emergency medical airlift after a crew member on a fishing vessel off the west coast of the Island became unwell.
Coastguard Helicopter Rescue 936 airlifted the patient to Noble's Hospital, where they were transferred to a waiting ambulance for treatment.
Later at 2:42pm, Douglas and Ramsey Coastguard teams were called to Dhoon Glen, after a Staffordshire Bull Terrier went missing near a cliff.
With help from a local drone operator, a technician was lowered to safely recover the dog, which was reunited with its owner, unharmed.
