Peel's Coastguard team were called into action yesterday.
Officers were alerted just after 6pm about a medical emergency in Peel harbour.
They helped stabilise and transfer the patient, who was taken to Noble's Hospital by ambulance.
The team spent just under an hour dealing with the incident.
