The Department of Infrastructure says safety and recruitment videos for the Island's coastguards cost just under £2,000.
A Freedom of Information request to the department asked how much was spent on a series of videos published online in November.
In its response, the DOI said the Isle of Man Coastguard videos cost a total of £1,980.
And it added the money had been spent to raise awareness about the body's role in public safety as well as supporting recruitment.
