Douglas Coastguard went to the aid of an off-road motorcyclist yesterday afternoon.
Officers were called out at 12.40pm to an incident on a track a mile from Windy Corner on the Mountain Road.
The motorcyclist had injured themselves while riding, and had to be taken to Windy corner where an ambulance was waiting.
They were taken to Noble's hospital for treatment.
