Coastal overtopping warning issued by Met Office

A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping around the Island comes into force later today.

The notice from Ronaldsway Met Office will be in place from Noon until 4am tomorrow (October 20).

According to forecasters, promenades in Douglas, Castletown, Laxey and Ramsey, as well as Shore Road in Rushen are the most likely to be affected.

High spring tides and strong winds may cause debris to wash over onto exposed roads and areas as a result.
