The Coast 2 Coast Walk is taking place today to raise money for charity Sight Matters.
The event will see around 400 participants set off on a 12 mile walk along the Heritage Trail, finishing at Peel.
It's open to all ages and abilities and begins at 1:30pm, with those who'd rather a shorter walk joining at St John's two hours later.
Organisers say the event has become a symbol of community participation, with walkers enjoying the scenery while raising funds for those who are visually impaired.
