More than 230 people took part in a record breaking clean up in the North of the Island at the weekend.
The events - hosted by FIM Capital Beach Buddies - saw 156 volunteers clearing shorelines at Ramsey Promenade on Saturday, the largest ever turnout in the town for an event of its type.
Meanwhile, a community clean up project took place in Jurby in Sunday at the same time as a beach clean at Sartfield with two thirds of a tonne of refuse collected - another record for the organisation.
The initiatives held across the weekend were in conjunction with the Great British Spring Clean which took place across the UK.
