Citywing has announced it's gone into liquidation – with no more flights to and from the Isle of Man.
The company says it’s as a result of Van Air losing its route licences on February 24th following an incident at Ronaldsway Airport during Storm Doris.
Since then Citywing says it’s found it difficult to source suitable aircraft to fulfil its contracts and has suffered “considerable losses” which are “unsustainable”.
In a statement released this evening the directors of the company say the decision to shut down has been made with “much sadness and deep regret”.
