As Christmas draws nearer, parking will be allowed on Loch Promenade in the Island's capital from later this month.
The DOI has confirmed motorists will be allowed to use the footway from Thursday, November 24 up until Tuesday, January 10.
2-hour access will be from Harris Promenade, opposite the Gaiety Theatre - with numerous restrictions in place.
This includes a 10mph speed limit, one-way system and reverse parking restriction.
