Manx athlete Christa Cain has set a new Isle of Man women’s marathon record at the Chicago Marathon.
Crossing the finish line in an outstanding 2 hours, 35 minutes and 31 seconds, Christa also improved her personal best by nearly two minutes.
She was among eight Isle of Man runners who completed the world-renowned marathon over the weekend.
Her performance saw her finish as the first Brit and 19th overall in the women’s category.
