The Island's fire service is asking people to be careful with chip pans after one caused a fire in Douglas yesterday.
Fire crews were called to Cambridge Terrace shortly after 5pm when a pan fire spread to the ceiling and floor in a kitchen.
The householders had evacuated safely and the blaze was quickly brought under control.
The Fire and Rescue Service says you should take extra care with chip pans to make sure they're not overfilled, and turn down the heat if it begins to smoke.
