An important figure at the Chinese embassy in London visited the Island last week to learn about the Manx education system.
Minister Councillor, Mr Wang Yongli, undertook a two day visit to see more of secondary school learning on the Isle of Man.
He also met with Education Minister, Graham Cregeen, and said he was impressed with the Islands schooling set-up.
Mr Yongli added that he hopes the visit can help build future learning relations between China and the Isle of Man.
