Police will use AI in future to judge how bad child sex images are.
The Department of Home Affairs says it's getting rid of the current scale used by courts to consider appropriate sentences.
Instead, categories used in England and Wales will be adopted next week so images can be looked up on the UK's Child Abuse Image Database.
Justice Minister Jane Poole-Wilson says the move is part of a plan to modernise the Island's criminal justice system.
