Chief Minister welcomes new MHK

The Chief Minister says he's hopeful that new MHK Chris Thomas will be looking to work with government to help overcome current challenges.

The financial analyst secured the Douglas West seat last week in a by-election taking over from Geoff Corkish who was elected to the Legislative Council.

Government has recently faced criticism over the Sefton bailout deal and new evidence relating to the Kirk Michael land swap.

Allan Bell says he is happy to find Mr Thomas positions within government but they need to be working towards the same outcomes:
