Highs Costs For Trips to Research Brussels Office
The Chief Minister today revealed the cost of the various trips to and from Brussels when researching the possibility of an off Island office there.
The total cost of delegation visits in the financial year 2009 to 2010 cost £4501.
Separate to this there were seven visits by senior civil servants to Brussels; the total cost of these visits was £6,646.
In terms of staffing an off Island Office and the estimated yearly maintenance costs the Chief Minister declined to comment saying work is ongoing to determine the costing of the exercise and an announcement will be made within 6 months.
