Chief Minister Alf Cannan has met members of the new UK government for the first time.
He visited London to see Trade Minister Douglas Alexander and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice Lord Ponsonby, who's responsible for the UK's relationship with Crown dependencies.
Mr Cannan described the discussions as positive.
Later this month he'll be back in the UK for the Conservative and Labour conferences.
