The Chief Minister remains ‘cautiously optimistic’ TT 2021 will take place.
Howard Quayle's comments from today's Coronavirus briefing come following recent reports restrictions introduced in the UK due to rising cases could be in place for six months.
Mr Quayle says, should that six-month period of rules in Britain happen, it would end three months before the proposed start of TT 2021.
He adds he hopes by the stage a Covid-19 vaccine will be in circulation.
