Chief Minister Denies Senior Post Office Staff Pay Increase Claims

There have been incremental pay increases across the board for all levels of staff, not just the senior members.

The Chief Minister has been answering allegations that Senior Management at the Post Office have been awarded with increased salaries after a re-grading.

After seeking confirmation on the matter from the Post Office the Chief Minister revealed that this hasn’t been the case.

An incremental rise is something that is confirmed in your terms and conditions; this aspect of pay has not been affected by the public sector freeze.

With regards to the ongoing pay dispute, the ballot process is still ongoing, with just under two weeks left for the post office workers to decide on whether or not they opt for strike action.
