Chief Minister contenders release statements

The two MHK’s in contention for the Chief Minister position have issued their statements for the consideration of Tynwald members.

 

In his statement Allan Bell speaks of the importance of stimulating further economic activity on the Island, particularly protecting the Island’s 0/10% corporate tax structure.

 

He also speaks of the importance of raising the Island’s profile and improving communications off Island.

 

Liberal Vannin leader Peter Karran says if he gets elected he will work with Tynwald members to achieve the caring and prosperous society that the Isle of Man deserves.

 

He says if they work together a Government with him at the helm can build on previous achievements and make the necessary changes to ensure the continued growth and success of our nation.

 

Tynwald will elect the Chief Minister on Tuesday.
