Chief Minister congratulates Olympian with Manx connections

Allan Bell has paid tribute to Jessica Draskau Petersson who finished in the top half of the field in the women’s Olympic marathon on Sunday.

Jessica, who has a dual Danish and Manx background, competed for Denmark – finishing eight minutes behind the winner and coming 40th out of 107 athletes.

The Chief Minister said she had represented the Isle of Man with distinction in the past and rose to the occasion with a fine performance.
