The Chief Minister says he is expecting more news from Flybe within the next few days.
It follows the airline’s announcement that it is cutting four flight routes to and from the Island.
These include Southampton, Jersey, Bristol and Luton.
Earlier this month Flybe announced it would be closing its base at Ronaldsway Airport with the loss of 50 jobs.
