The Island's Chief Constable has praised police who saved a man's life.
Gary Roberts took to Twitter earlier this week to say it was down to couple of brave officers' quick thinking.
In the Tweet he says the man in question was in crisis and at the point of ending his own life.
Mr Roberts added 'To paraphrase what they said to me: it's what we do.'
Just been speaking to a couple of brave officers, whose quick thinking today saved the life of a man, who was in crisis and at the point of ending his own life. To paraphrase what they said to me: it's what we do.
