Public Health Isle of Man is warning parents to be on the lookout for chickenpox.
The organisation says the virus is currently spreading around the Isle of Man, mostly among children.
It says youngsters should stay off school until the spots have crusted over, usually around five days after they first appeared.
The organisation also says pregnant women who haven't had the disease before but who have been in close contact with someone who's infected should speak to their GP or midwife for advice.
