The new Covid-19 vaccine hub in the Island capital is opening its doors today.
The facility in the former Shoprite store on Chester Street will be administering jabs to patients from this morning with around 460 people expected to receive first or second doses during Monday.
It's replacing the hub which had been based at the Newlands Ward at Noble's Hospital which closed last week and anyone attending an appointment is being asked not to arrive too early so queues can be avoided.
Government has also issued a reminder that any resident who had their first jab at the Newlands site will have their second dose at Chester Street.
Meanwhile, extra disabled parking has been made available on Market Street with 2-hour disc parking on levels 2 to 6 in Chester Street car park and a drop off area outside for taxis and patient transport.
