The Fire and Rescue Service is asking people to check their chimney ahead of the colder months.
It's took to Facebook, saying that poorly maintained chimneys can increase the risk of chimney fires and carbon monoxide poisoning.
Adding that they should be swept at least once a year by a competent sweeper.
