Check carbon monoxide detectors, say firefighters

Have you checked your house for potential carbon monoxide risks?

The Fire and Rescue Service is asking people to check they have working carbon monoxide detectors in rooms with gas hobs, gas boilers and open fires or wood burners.

The devices can prevent poisoning, gas leaks and explosions.
