A vital funding boost is helping a local charity which has recently launched a cross-generation mental health and wellbeing programme.
Motiv8 - a charity helping people combat addictions - received nearly £50,000 from the Manx Lottery Trust to kickstart three new branches called MiniMotiv8, Motiv8 Recovery Network and Live Longer & Healthier: Older Generations Project.
The organisations Deputy Director, Lyndsey Smart, says the initiative is tackling the issues around addictions head on and has received an overwhelming response.
The trio of new projects are aimed at being able to reach and help those from different age groups ranging from as young as eight years old up to the over 50s.
